
Something un-knotted in me the other night,
A release of tension and fear,
Curling slowly away from the place its laid balled up for so long,
Curling, twisting
The pressure released and I could breathe, even just for an instance,
I allowed myself to be me, to not hide parts I didn’t want showing.
Unpleated and open,
You came and lit a match,
Even though now, I’m folding back,
